Euston Station Retail Upgrade
W&P have worked with RGP Architects on a number of projects and were invited by single source tender for the works to be undertaken at London Euston.
W&P were appointed as electrical and lighting engineers to assist with reconfiguration of the main station concourse following the construction of the new mezzanine food retail area.
Services & Solutions
W&P were initially involved in carrying out detailed surveys of the existing electrical and lighting installation to establish condition and suitability. All surveys had to be carried out overnight due to operational and Health and Safety considerations. W&P then advised on retention or replacement of electrical infrastructure and lighting based on the results of the survey. In close conjunction with the Architectural Team W&P then developed an electrical infrastructure and lighting design to suit the proposed reconfiguration, increased retail space and anticipated end user requirements.
In addition to working closely with the Station management team W&P were also tasked to liaise with the potential tenants regarding their fit-out specifications to ensure compatibility with the overall electrical and lighting design.
