Introduction

W&P were approached by Vilasana Homes following a recommendation from the Project Quantity Surveyor who had worked with W&P on a number of projects previously.

 

Appointment

Vilasana Homes required Civil and Building Services Engineering advice on their proposed 15 Unit ‘ecohome’ development and W&P were commissioned to provide pre and post planning advice and the detailed engineering design of and site supervision for the project

 

Services & Solutions

Initially W&P assisted in completing the Planning Application and discharging Planning Conditions followed by the detailed design and site supervision of the following;

 

  • Surface water attenuation and drainage infrastructure

  • Foul drainage infrastructure and submission of Section 104 application

  • Highway infrastructure and submission of Section 278 Application

  • Power, communications and water supply infrastructure

  •  Earthworks, hard and soft landscaping and water bodies

  • Power and public health networks within the housing units

  •  Air source heat pumps within the housing units
